Frequently Asked Questions

We open the Friday after Thanksgiving and are open weekends through Christmas (while supplies last).
If you can’t make it on a weekend, weekday appointments are often available by request — just contact us in advance.

We’re typically open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Please check our Facebook page or the Location & Hours page for weather or inventory updates as the season goes on.

We’re located at Red Barn Evergreens in Berrien Center, Michigan — right off M-62, just a few minutes from Berrien Springs.
Plug “Red Barn Evergreens” into Google Maps and you’ll come straight to our driveway!

We accept Cash and Cards.

Yes. We provide saws and twine, and we can help you bale and load your tree onto your vehicle if needed.
We do ask that you don’t bring chainsaws or power tools for safety reasons.

Absolutely — friendly, leashed dogs are welcome!
Please just clean up after them and keep them close by while walking the fields.

Santa visits Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM to 5 PM during the season (weather permitting).
You’re welcome to take your own photos, and kids can drop off their wish lists in our special Santa mailbox.

Of course! We love seeing families make memories here.
Feel free to take your own pictures during your visit.
If you’re a professional photographer looking to book sessions, please visit our Photography page for details and scheduling.

We’re open rain, snow, or shine — but safety comes first.
If conditions are icy or dangerous, we may close temporarily and post an update on our Facebook page and website homepage.

For safety reasons, personal chainsaws or axes aren’t allowed.
You’re welcome to bring your own hand saw, though we have plenty available for guests.

The fields can be muddy or snowy, so boots and warm clothes are highly recommended.
Bring gloves, a measuring tape if you like to plan, and maybe a blanket or tarp to protect your car during transport.

Yes — we have a portable restroom available near the parking area during the season.
